Simon Peter possesses a strong background in electronic engineering, holding a first class honours degree in Electronics and Computing and is currently completing his PhD part-time. His research focuses on the hardware realisations of evolvable biologically realistic neural networks on FPGAs. His interests stem from Embedded System design, in particular FPGAs to Intelligent Systems Control and wireless technologies. Simon Peter is keen to help promote the North West cross border region and its technology infrastructure.
